Conor Robin Madigan was born in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1982. He attended Earlham College in Indiana and later obatained his MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. His first published work was a short story How It's Silent When You're Gone, which appeared in 2008 in CutThroat Journal. In 2011 Madigan's novella, Cut Up, was published by The Republic of Letters Books in the UK, Cahuita, and Boston. His most recent work is in Contrary Magazine this last July, and he is the winner of the 2023 Rick Demarinis contest for fiction and was finalist for the Great American Fiction Contest 2020 run by The Saturday Evening Post. 

Madigan lives in Evanston. He is presently at work on a first novel.
